I fill three of these with 800 g of frozen peas — two days’ worth each.
One thermos stays at ambient temperature, where the peas remain frozen for about three days, so I eat from those first.
The other two stay in the Yeti cooler. This extends their frozen time by a couple of days, so the peas remain frozen for around five to six days — giving me cold peas without refrigeration for up to seven days. If I need a full seven days’ supply, I buy an extra bag of peas and store it loosely in the Yeti cooler, eating it on the first day.
The fourth thermos is used to store half the vegetables I steam for lunch, so they’re ready for dinner the same day.
