Having tried out all sorts of tents and materials I always came back to Hilleberg.
While being incredibly light, dyneema is not durable enough and gets dirty with time, silpoly is noisy and flimsy to the touch, but silnylon just speaks most to my senses.
This tent hits an acceptable balance between size, durability and weight for a one person tent. That said, I still don't enjoy carrying this much weight for longer distances and am considering going back to a bivy and tarp.
